Sunday Music - Tim Fast, Mary Gordon Hall, and Greg Trafidlo

Greg joins old friends Tim and Mary Gordon for an afternoon of good fun and good music. Local singer-songwriter Mary Gordon Hall was one of the first songwriters to play at The Batesville Market back during one of its earlier renditions. Having returned home to the area after a few years exploring the DC music scene, she has new and old story songs to share about life, love, and lollygagging.Minnesota native Tim Fast is a national touring, finger-style guitar picking, harmonica bending, award winning singer-songwriter and performer. Credited with three award-winning albums, this nationally touring artist hangs his hat with some of the best American singer-songwriters today.

SVSA Songwriters Showcase

Third Street Coffeehouse, Trinity Church, 305 Mountain Ave SW, Roanoke, VA

3rd Street welcomes back the Southwest Virginia Songwriters Association (SVSA) for their annual Songwriter Showcase! Featuring both veteran and emerging songwriters from across Southwest Virginia, you’ll hear eight different artists performing their original works, including award winning performers Mike Franke, Larry Helms, Mollye Otis, Mike DeGiorgi, Greg Trafidlo, David Simpkins, Josh Jones and Bob Schmucker. There will be two sets with 4 performers each and no opening act. An intermission between sets for house announcements also gives the audience and opportunity to stretch and purchase bakery, snacks and beverages. Now in the 33rd year, 3rd Street Coffeehouse is a non-profit listening room run by volunteers and never has a cover charge.  Alcohol free and smoke free and feature fresh bakery from Evie’s Wildflour Restaurant and Bakery in Roanoke with a great selection of regular and flavored coffees, teas and cold drinks. Located in the basement of the historic Trinity United Methodist Church (door faces Mountain Avenue). 100% of the "pass the hat" money collected goes to the performers. Doors open at 7:00 PM.
